The Ambassade Orchestra Vienna was founded in 1998 by Michael Buchmann and Alexander Kaspar. After a widely celebrated tour through South America a number of cooperations with world famous stars like José Carreras and Sarah Brightman followed as well as tours to Monte Carlo and Japan and CD-productions with the Austria singer Wolfgang Ambros, the Japanese Rockband Quruli and the German children’s star Willi Weitzel. In 2013 and 2014 more concerts with Jose Carreras followed in Bahrain and the Arab Emirates. The highlight in 2014 was the spectacular concert in the sold out Wiener Stadthalle with the most popular tenor of the world Andrea Bocelli. The tour plan of the Ambassade Orchestra Vienna in 2017 includes more concerts with Andrea Bocelli and the last concert of Jose Carreras in Vienna.
